Doja Cat said Friday she tested positive for COVID-19.
“I got COVID,” she told the UK’s Capital XTRA. “Honestly, I don’t know how this happens but I guess I ordered something off of [food delivery app] Postmates, and I don’t know how I got it but I got it.”
According to a Health Canada website, “there are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 being spread through food” but it is possible to contract COVID-19 from an infected delivery person. It recommends using contactless delivery or keeping at least two metres away from the delivery person.
