Former U.S. president Donald Trump made it clear this past weekend that he’s no fan of Rihanna.
The 76-year-old weighed in on the pop star’s Super Bowl LVII halftime show on social media.
“EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history — This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language,” he wrote on Truth Social. “Also, so much for her ‘Stylist!’”
Before Sunday’s game, Trump opined: “Without her ‘Stylist’ she’d be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!”
(On Twitter, Trump spawn Donald Trump Jr. asked his followers: "On a scale of 1 to the Grammys how satanic will the #SuperBowlLVII#HalftimeShow be?")
In 2018, Rihanna called Trump’s rallies “tragic” and demanded that his campaign stop playing her songs at the gatherings. She also displayed art emblazoned with “F**k Trump” on social media.
Unlike Trump, Rihanna is a self-made billionaire who owns half of cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty (with LVMH) and lingerie brand Savage X Fenty (with TechStyle Fashion Group). She is also one of the top-selling female recording artists of all time and has collected nine Grammy Awards.
