Drake says winning two Grammy Awards for his hit “Hotline Bling” last week feel “weird.”
In an interview for his OVO Sound radio show that was recorded the day after the Grammys, the Toronto superstar spoke about the song winning Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Rap Song.
“Even though ‘Hotline Bling’ is not a rap song… the only category they can manage to fit me in is a rap category,” Drake said.
“Maybe because I’ve rapped in the past or because I’m black, I can’t figure out why.”
Drake added: “I don’t even want [the awards], because it just feels weird for some reason.”

The star said Grammys producers had asked him to cancel two of his UK concerts so he could perform on the show.
“We’ve been conditioned to think that this is the true award for our accomplishments,” Drake explained. “All I’m saying is, to kids that will be coming up in the future that might not get championed: that’s okay too.
“You’re dealing with a bunch of people that are just people, at the end of the day.”
Drake has five nominations for the Juno Awards in April. He has won six from 27 previous nominations.
