Elton John isn’t ready to say goodbye.
The singer announced Wednesday that he has added 25 new shows to his Farewell, Yellow Brick Road tour – including 10 more in Canada.
John will play Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on Sept. 21 and 22, 2019; Edmonton’s Rogers Place on Sept. 27 and 28; Saskatoon’s Sasktel Centre on Oct. 1 and 2; Winnipeg’s Bell MTS Centre on Oct. 4 and 5; and Toronto’s Scotiabank Centre on Oct. 22 and 23.
The 71-year-old music icon announced details of his final tour back in January. It is set to run until 2021.
“It's going to be the most produced, fantastic show I've ever done," he said. "It'll be a wonderful way to thank people...the other things [like award shows] are just superfluous little trinkets.
"I thought the time was right to say hello to all my fans around the road, and then goodbye."
