Elton John stormed off stage during a performance at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas last week, after a fan became disruptive.
While performing “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting),” John invited fans to join him onstage. However, one fan in particular went a little too far, repeatedly touching the singer’s shoulder, meddling with the piano, and asking for pictures.

In video footage obtained by TMZ, John is seen becoming enraged, briefly turning away and yelling something, before getting up and walking off. The “Rocket Man” eventually returned to the stage, informing fans: “No more coming on stage on ‘Saturday Night,’ you f***ed it up.”
Days after the incident, John released a statement on Twitter:
“I bring fans onstage every evening when we play ‘Saturday Night’ in the set, it is always a lovely part of the show where I get to meet them, shake their hands and have them right there with me while I play. They have always been very courteous to the fact we were in the middle of playing a song live,” he wrote. “This guy was rude, disruptive and had no care or respect for our show and so I let him know how I felt, then left the stage until they had removed him.”
John’s Las Vegas residency, The Million Dollar Piano, runs until May 17 before the legendary singer kicks off his 300-show Farewell Yellow Brick Road final tour in September.
