Hilary Duff has something to say to people who are ignoring directives to isolate themselves as the world tries to contain COVID-19.

“To all you young millennial a**holes that keep going out and partying: go home,” Duff said in an Instagram Story. “Stop killing old people, please.”

The 32-year-old singer and actress asked her 14.7 followers to recommend shows worthy of binge-watching while she stays home with her children Luca and Banks and husband, musician Matthew Koma.

Duff’s message on Sunday came as Taylor Swift expressed similar concerns on social media about young people not taking the directives of health officials seriously.

“This is the time to cancel plans,” she wrote, “actually truly isolate as much as you can.”

Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga have also taken to social media to weigh in on human behaviour during the COVID-19 crisis.
