With less than a month to go until the 2017 Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy announced Wednesday the first batch of performers set to take the Staples Center.
The first heavyweights announced are John Legend, Metallica, and Carrie Underwood with Keith Urban.
Additional performers for the Feb. 12 show are to be announced in the coming weeks.

Rumours are swiling that Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Canada's The Weekend might also hit the stage for a special tribute in honour of the late, great Prince.
The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will be hosted by James Corden.
