Justin Bieber will return to the American Music Awards stage on Sunday night for the first time since 2016.
The 26-year-old Canadian is scheduled to perform a medley of hits, including his latest singles “Lonely” and “Holy.” He will be joined by Benny Blanco and other special guests.
This will be Bieber’s fifth time as an AMAs performer. He made his debut in 2010 with a performance of “Pray.” He has 15 wins and is nominated for four more this year.
The singer is vying for Artist of the Year and Favourite Male Artist (Pop/Rock) and his single with Dan + Shay, “10,000 Hours,” is up for Collaboration of the Year and Favourite Song (Country).
Bieber’s fellow Canadian The Weeknd – who will also perform “Save Your Tears" on the show – and Roddy Ricch lead all AMAs nominees this year with eight each. Check out all the nominations here.
The AMAs, hosted by Taraji P. Henson, will also feature performances by Shawn Mendes, BTS, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and Maluma (doing “Pa’ Ti” and “Lonely” from their forthcoming movie Marry Me), Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez, Nelly, and Lil Baby (performing “Emotionally Scarred”).
The American Music Awards air Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on CTV.
