Yohan of K-Pop act TST died Tuesday at 28.
“We are sad to relay the most unfortunate, sorrowful news,” read a statement from the group’s label, KJ Music Entertainment. A cause of death was not immediately revealed.
Yohan, whose real name is Kim Jeong-hwan, was part of the group NOM for two years before joining TST – then known as Top Secret – in 2017. The group has released a pair of EPs and several singles.
TST’s most recent single “Countdown” was released at the end of January.
The K-Pop scene was rocked by suicides late last year. In October, former f(x) member Sulli died by suicide at 25. A month later, former Kara singer Goo Hara was found dead at 28. And, in December, Surprise U's Cha In Ha died at 27.
