Kesha has released accusatory emails in her ongoing lawsuit with music producer Dr. Luke. According to Page Six, the singer shared a “trove” of emails in which Dr. Luke comments unfavourably on Kesha’s weight, saying she broke from a “juice fast” by drinking a Diet Coke and eating turkey and alleging her weight was the reason many producers were “reluctant to give Kesha their songs.”
“We were having a discussion on how she can be more disciplined with her diet,” reads one email written by Dr. Luke. “There have been many times we have all witnessed her breaking her diet plan. this perticular [sic] time – it happened to be diet coke and turkey while on an all juice fast.”

The “Timber” singer has been locked in a binding contract with Luke for a long time, which she has been fiercely trying to get out of. In October, she told the New York Times that she has recorded 22 songs that Luke is barring her from releasing. She also alleges that she was sexually assaulted by the producer.
Still, she hasn’t let the ongoing litigation diminish her opinion of the music industry. After the Grammys Sunday, Kesha shared an inspirational message on her Instagram, writing:
“Anyone who makes art, you win,” the singer-songwriter posted. “All art is good, even if it’s not, because it’s vulnerable self-expression, and that’s a WIN in my book. So make it, even if it’s s--- and you don’t feel like you know what the (expletive) you’re doing, try.”
“Whatever medium pulls at your spirit, try it,” she urged. “[You] never know what the outcome will be unless you try.”
