Lady Gaga announced Wednesday that he highly-anticipated album Chromatica will be out at the end of the month.
“The journey continues,” she shared on social media. “You can officially join me on #Chromatica on May 29.”
The pop star’s sixth studio album (and fifth solo collection) was originally set to be released on April 10 but on March 24 she announced that she was pushing it back due to the COVID-19 crisis.
“After a lot of deliberation, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to postpone,” Gaga wrote in a message shared via social media, adding that “it just doesn’t feel right” to release an album given what is going on in the world.
“I hope you can see that when the album does come out, I want us to be able to dance together, sweat together, hug and kiss each other, and make it the most bombastic celebration of all time,” she wrote.

On April 22, Gaga shared the track listing for Chromatica, which includes collaborations with Ariana Grande (“Rain On Me”), BLACKPINK (“Sour Candy”) and Elton John (“Sine From Above”).
The album has already spawned the hit “Stupid Love,” which dropped in February.
Little Monsters are now waiting for word on the fate of Gaga’s Chromatica Ball, which is scheduled to roll into Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Aug. 9. In her message in late March, Gaga said "I also definitely plan to see you on the road for my Chromatica Ball tour this summer" but the pandemic has put all large gatherings on hold until at least next year.
Gaga already scrapped six Las Vegas residency shows between April 30 and May 11.
