Lady Gaga is helping spread messages of positivity in a new book, Channel Kindness: Stories of Kindness and Community.
The pop star’s Born This Way Foundation, co-founded in 2012 with her mother Cynthia Germanotta, collected 51 essays about acts of kindness. Each one is followed by a message from Gaga.
“Channel Kindness is the embodiment of the everyday acts of kindness that uplift communities and instill a sense of hope in each of us,” the singer told The Oprah Magazine. “If these stories inspire one act of kindness, then we’ve accomplished our mission. We can’t do it alone, and here is a book that shows we aren’t.”
Channel Kindness: Stories of Kindness and Community is set to be released on Sept. 22.
Gaga’s new album Chromatica, featuring the single “Stupid Love,” drops on April 10 and The Chromatica Ball will roll into Toronto’s Rogers Centre on Aug. 9.
