A lawsuit accusing Usher of failing to tell sexual partners that he allegedly has herpes has been dismissed, according to The Blast.
Quantasia Sharpton, along with plaintiffs identified only as Jane Doe and John Doe, sued the “U Got It Bad” singer in 2017.
“Usher had sexual contact with them after 2012, and failed to warn them of his alleged STD, as required by law,” lawyer Lisa Bloom said in a press release at the time.
Usher denied the allegations, which were never tested in court.
It’s not clear if the move to dismiss the lawsuit is the result of a settlement or not.
According to Radar Online, Usher paid $1.1 million U.S. in 2012 to settle a lawsuit from a woman who claimed she got the incurable STD from him.
Usher, 40, announced his separation from wife Grace Miguel in March 2018 and filed for divorce last December.
