Following a surprise performance at the BRIT Awards, Coldplay and The Chainsmokers released a new track called “Something Just Like This.” The song is a feel-good jam about celebrating the regularity of a loving relationship.

“Can't believe we just got to premiere our new song with @coldplay at the @Brits to play alongside these guys! We are shaking!!” The Chainsmokers tweeted following the performance.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin sings on the track: “I'm not looking for somebody/ With some superhuman gifts/ Some superhero/ Some fairytale bliss/ Just something I can turn to/ Somebody I can kiss.”

It wasn’t much of a surprise to some eagle-eyed fans, who spotted that Spotify erroneously published a banner ad on the streaming service announcing the collaboration. It was taken down shortly after, but not before a screen capture was taken and began circulating on social media.

Martin has been a fan of EDM duo The Chainsmokers for some time, tweeting back in January, “Excited for @thechainsmokers’ album; I've heard some songs and I love them.”
