Despite Prince’s former mixing and recording engineer Ian Boxill being blocked by courts from releasing a six-track EP titled Deliverance, we’re still being gifted with new Prince just over a year after the Purple One’s death.
“Our Destiny” and “Roadhouse Garden” have been released by the singer’s former label. They were frequently played back-to-back on tour, with vocals for “Our Destiny” provided by Lisa from the Revolution and Prince’s soaring falsetto on “Roadhouse Garden” is backed by Lisa and Dr. Fink.

They hit streaming services Friday. The two tracks will appear on the forthcoming reissues Purple Rain Deluxe and Purple Rain Deluxe – Expanded Edition. They were recorded live in concert at First Avenue in Minneapolis on June 7, 1984, which was Prince’s 26th birthday.
