Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has announced he will kick off his first solo tour in Canada this October.
The music artist will start the trek on Oct 10 at MTelus in Montreal followed by a show at Rebel in Toronto on Oct. 11.
Shinoda will then hit up 20 cities across the U.S., wrapping up Nov. 17 in Maryland.

He plans to also showcase art he created while working on his debut solo album Post Traumatic in the months following the death of Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington.
“Listening to a recorded song is not the same as experiencing that song live on stage,” Shinoda said in a statement. “Similarly, seeing a painting in an album or book is not the same as seeing the original, in person.
"In sharing a live experience with you, my hope is to inspire questions, answers, and reflection – not only about my story, but about your own. The search for meaning is boundless, and art is often one of our best vehicles.”
Tickets go on sale Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. local time.
