Miley Cyrus has been slapped with a lawsuit over her 2013 hit “We Can’t Stop.”
Jamaican artist Michael May, known as Flourgon, alleges the track borrows from his 1988 song “We Run Things.”
The lawsuit names Cyrus and her co-writers as well as her manager Larry Rudolph, Sony Music and RCA Records. May is seeking $300 million U.S. in compensation and damages.

Cyrus and the other defendants have not commented on the lawsuit, which was filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.
