Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts have announced details of a summer tour that will force Canadian fans to travel south.
The Stadium Tour will kick off on July 7 in Miami and run until Sept. 5 in Los Angeles. No Canadian cities are included on the schedule, although there are stops in several U.S. cities on the border – including Buffalo and Detroit.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Dec. 13.
Last month, Mötley Crüe announced it torched the “cessation of touring contract” its members signed after the band’s Final Tour ended on New Year’s Eve 2015.
In 2014, Nikki Sixx told Rolling Stone there was a loophole in the contract that “if all four band members agreed to do it, we could override our own contract.” But, he added: “We know that will never happen. There are people in this band who will refuse to ever do it again, and you’re talking to one of them. There is no amount of money that would ever make me do it again because I have such pride in how we’re ending it.”
Mötley Crüe and Poison previously toured together in 2011 and Def Leppard toured with Poison in 2017 but this will be the first time the three bands – whose members range in age from 56 to 68 – will hit the road together.
