An Oasis reunion is actually happening.
After days, weeks, months and years of speculation, members Liam and Noel Gallagher confirmed today that the band will come back after 16 years of inactivity to perform dates next summer in the UK and Ireland.
The OASIS LIVE 25 Tour will see the band play 14 stadium dates in the cities of Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin throughout July and August 2025.
On the band's socials, they posted a new photo of the Gallaghers along with the caption, "The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised." Another message was posted announcing, “This is it, this is happening,” along with a hype video that lists the dates.
The last time Oasis performed together was back on August 20, 2009 at Weston Park for the V Festival in Staffordshire, England.
The Gallagher brothers have had a very public, up and down relationship in the years following their split, that included Liam suing Noel, many rejected offers to reform and constant name-calling (the most frequent being Liam calling Noel a "potato").
No official word has been given as to who else will be playing in the band with the Gallaghers, however, The Sun has stated that the reunion will not include any other original members or the lineup that last performed in 2009. Instead, it suggests Noel Gallagher's backing band, High Flying Birds, will "step in for the concerts."
