When and where can I watch red carpet coverage?
CTV’s eTalk At The Oscars is the only Canadian show broadcasting live from the red carpet on Sunday. Ben Mulroney, Danielle Graham and Lainey Lui will bring us all the glamour from 6 pm to 7 pm ET.
Stay tuned for Oscars Opening Ceremony: Live From the Red Carpet with Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan and Lara Spencer starting at 7 pm on CTV and CTV GO.
Over at E!, Countdown to the Red Carpet starts at 1:30 pm ET, followed by Live From the Red Carpet at 5:30 pm ET.

Jimmy Kimmel will host this year’s show.
Who will be presenting on the show?
Lots of stars! Look for folks like Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Aniston, Dwayne Johnson, Matt Damon, Chris Evans, David Oyelowo, Emma Stone, Dev Patel, Jamie Dornan and Hailee Steinfeld. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Bonnie & Clyde, Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway will reunite to present the top award.
Will there be Canadians at the Oscars?
Of course! B.C.'s Seth Rogen and nominee Ontario's Ryan Gosling are among the presenters scheduled to appear.
There are also plenty of Canadian nominees, including Arrival director Denis Villeneuve and the film’s sound editor Sylvain Bellemare, production designer Patrice Vermette, set decorator Paul Hotte, and sound mixers Bernard Gariepy Strobl and Claude La Haye. Arrival was also co-produced by Montreal native Shawn Levy.
Best Animated Feature nominee Moana was co-directed by Chris Williams of Kitchener, Ont.
Are any Canadian films nominated?
Not really.
While it’s not technically a Canadian film, Arrival was shot in Montreal and Bas-Saint-Laurent by a Quebec director and mostly Canadian crew. Arrival has eight nominations, including Best Picture.
Winnipeg’s Howard Barish shares a nomination for best documentary (13th) with Ava DuVernay and Spencer Averick.
Three of the five films in the animated short category have Canadian connections: Blind Vaysha is by Montreal’s Theodore Ushev, Pear Cider and Cigarettes was directed by Vancouver’s Robert Valley, and Piper comes from Alan Barillaro of Chippawa, Ont.
Will there be live music on the Oscars?
Absolutely! Justin Timberlake will perform “Can’t Stop the Feeling” from Trolls, John Legend will perform “Audition (The Fools Who Dream) and “City of Stars” from La La Land, and Sting will sing “The Empty Chair” from Jim: The James Foley Story.
Plus, Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda and Auli’i Cravalho will perform "How Far I'll Go" from Moana.

What is the most popular Best Picture nominee?
Going into Sunday’s Oscars, La La Land leads the way with a worldwide box office haul of $343 million. Only three other films in the category have grossed over $100 million — Arrival ($197 million), Hacksaw Ridge ($175 million) and Hidden Figures ($171 million).
The other five contenders have grossed a combined $259 million — from Moonlight’s $22 million to Lion’s $86 million.
