Pusha T said Wednesday he found out about Drake’s son from one of the Toronto’s rapper’s closest friends, Noah ’40’ Shebib.
Appearing on The Joe Budden Podcast, Pusha-T said the inside info for his diss track “The Story of Adidon” – in which he revealed that Drake had a son – did not come from Kanye West, as Drake suspects.
“It may make sense in Drake’s mind that, ‘Oh, Ye told Push about my son and my situation … It’s wrong. Didn’t happen like that.,” he said.
“The information came from 40. It didn’t come from Kanye, at all. 40 is sleeping with a woman who begins to… he talks to her daily, five, six hours a day. Talks to a woman five, six hours a day, provides opportunity for her and ultimately speaks about how he’s disgruntled about certain things, notoriety and things involving Drake and his career.
“With that also came the fact that Drake has a child. With that also came the trip everybody took to also see the child and bring him gifts and all of this information. She divulged this information. That’s where it came from.”

Only last week, Drake talked about his son Adonis (with Sophie Brussaux) on The Shop with LeBron James and Maverick Carter. The rap superstar said he believes West told Pusha T about the boy after hearing an early version of “March 14.”
“I’m in Wyoming. I play him ‘March 14.’ I send him a picture of my son,” Drake said. “I tell him I’m having trouble with my son’s mother.”
Pusha T said Drake owes West an apology. “Your friend is the reason why,” he said. “That’s how it came about, that’s how that information came out.”
Shebib is the Toronto-born producer of Drake’s albums and a co-founder of the rapper’s OVO Sound label. Like Drake, he started out as a young actor. Shebib had roles in Canadian productions like Wind at My Back and Goosebumps.
