Trick Daddy was arrested Saturday in Miami on suspicion of DUI and cocaine possession.
An officer responding to reports of a driver in a Range Rover hitting signs and running red lights reportedly found the 45-year-old rapper (whose real name is Maurice Young) asleep behind the wheel.
According to a police report, Young showed signs of being drunk and failed a field sobriety test. Once at a police station, cops allegedly found cocaine in his belongings.
The “I’m a Thug” rapper served time in prison following a 1993 conviction for cocaine possession and carrying a concealed weapon. He pleaded guilty to cocaine and weapons charges a decade later. Less than six years ago, Young was charged with cocaine possession and possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
Earlier this month, police in Miami arrested rapper DaBaby for battery.
