Shawn Mendes has added ink to his body.
The 21-year-old Canadian singer this week enlisted Los Angeles tattoo artist Kane Navasard to ink a small letter “A” behind his right ear. The tattoo is reportedly a tribute to Mendes’ 16-year-old sister Aaliyah.
Mendes has a collection of seven other tattoos on his body (that we know of).
He also evidently convinced Camila Cabello to get her first tat this week. She had “it’s a mystery” inked in cursive on the inside of her pinky finger – a reference to 1998’s Shakespeare in Love.
Mendes and Cabello reunited in Los Angeles after he flew back from a Nov. 9 concert in New Zealand. The following night they put on a courtside PDA as the L.A. Clippers hosted the Toronto Raptors – generating plenty of buzz ahead of her tour announcement and the release of his contribution to a remix of Taylor Swift’s “Lover.”
Mendes kicks off the final leg of his world tour in Brazil on Nov. 29.
