Canada’s Shawn Mendes has been named one of the 30 Most Influential Teens of 2017 by TIME.
The magazine described the 19-year-old from Ontario as "one of pop music’s biggest stars.”
Mendes said he hasn’t peaked yet. “I’m just honing and getting better at my craft,” he explained, adding that he hopes his third studio release (out next year) “will be the best album yet by a landslide.”
The singer said he wants people “to feel like they can do anything and I hope that I can inspire them.”
