Taylor Swift has delivered on her promise to help victims of sexual assault.
After winning a civil case last week against a former radio host she accused of groping, Swift issued a statement in which she pledged to make “donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves.”
On Wednesday, the singer made a donation to the U.S. Joyful Heath Foundation.
“Joyful Heart is honoured to be recognized by Taylor Swift for our work on behalf of and in service to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse," read a statement from the organization.

Joyful Heart was founded by Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay in 2004. Swift named her cat Olivia Benson — the name of Hargitay’s character on the show.
Swift won a token $1 judgment against David Mueller, whom she said put his hand on her buttocks during a backstage meet-and-greet in 2013.
"I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this,” Swift said in her statement.
“My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard.”
