Taylor Swift’s new single “Look What You Made Me Do” broke a YouTube record for the most first-day views for a lyric video.
The video had 18.9 million views in its first 24 hours online, according to YouTube.
The official video for the track, which will be on Swift’s forthcoming album Reputation, will debut on Sunday night.
It could also set a record for first-day views. Swift’s 2015 video for “Bad Blood” had 20.1 million views in its first 24 hours, ranking fifth in YouTube history for a music video. It’s since been seen more than 1.1 billion times.
The record for first-day views of a music video on YouTube is held by Adele, whose 2015 made-in-Quebec video “Hello,” had 27.7 million views. It recently topped 2 billion views.
