Taylor Swift announced Tuesday morning that she is going to open the American Music Awards with a performance of “I Did Something Bad.”
The 19-time AMA winner is up for Artist of the Year against her friend Ed Sheehan, Imagine Dragons, Post Malone and Canada’s Drake. She’s also vying for Favourite Female Artist - Pop/Rock and Tour of the Year – and her album reputation is nominated for Favourite Album - Pop/Rock.
The AMAs will also include Panic! At The Disco performing “Bohemian Rhapsody” in tribute to Queen.
Previously announced performers include Halsey and Khalid, Dua Lipa and Cardi B, Mariah Carey, Ciara, Missy Elliott, Post Malone with Ty Dolla $ign, and Carrie Underwood.
Drake, Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd are the only Canadian nominees. Check out all the nominations here.
The AMAs will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. ET.
