After hinting at another potential collaboration with Daft Punk through a cryptic but still clear photo on Instagram, The Weeknd confirmed a second track with the French duo.
The Wall Street Journal managed to get that detail in an interview where Abel Tesfaye said that "the remarkably spontaneous sessions yielded two songs on the album.”
The Weeknd's new album Starboy will come out on Nov. 25, the same day he is set to perform at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Toronto.
In the interview with the newspaper, the singer also shared some details on working with Daft Punk in the studio:
“Their studio is like a spaceship, there’s a lot of gear, but the way they make music, the way they explain it, is very cinematic. It’s like they’re reading a page out of a novel: ‘We want to make sure that at the end, it feels like the sun’s coming up, and maybe there’s a car chase.’ They can get technical, but it was interesting how they visualize making music.”
