The Weeknd announced Thursday he will kick off his new world tour in Vancouver.
The After Hours Tour will start at Rogers Arena on June 11 before hitting Edmonton’s Rogers Place on June 14 and Winnipeg’s Bell MTS Place on June 17.
The Weeknd will bring the show to his hometown Toronto for two nights – June 29 and 30 – at Scotiabank Arena, followed by a July 2 concert at Bell Centre in Montreal. The singer hasn't performed live in Canada since October 2017.
According to a release, the tour in support of The Weeknd’s new album After Hours (which drops March 20) will feature “one of the most innovative stage designs to date, containing the most LED lights and video for an arena show.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public starting at 10 am local time on Feb. 25.
The tour announcement came one day after The Weeknd debuted the album's title track, which followed “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights."
After wrapping up the North American leg of the tour in September, the singer will head to Europe and the UK.
