With a little more than a month before the release of its new album Say Nothing, THEORY has debuted the title track.
The emotional song is about a relationship destroyed by a breakdown in communication.
“A big issue in a lot of relationships is a lack of communication, myself included,” lead singer and songwriter Tyler Connolly said, in a release. “‘Say Nothing’ delves into the maelstrom of a breakup and how frustrating it can be to not tell someone how you really feel.”
The track follows the release of “History of Violence” and “Strangers.”
Say Nothing, recorded in London with producer Martin Terefe (Yungblud, Jason Mraz), is THEORY’s first studio album since 2017’s Wake Up Call.
THEORY will mark the album’s release on Jan. 31 with the first of two nights at The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, before heading out on a cross-Canada tour that wraps up Feb. 29.
