Country star Thomas Rhett shared details on Thursday about his fourth studio album, Center Point Road.
The 16-track collection – which takes it name from a street in Rhett’s beloved Hendersonville, Tennessee – comes out May 31.
“For me, Center Point Road really symbolizes what it was like to grow up in Hendersonville,” the singer explained, in a release. “First dates, first football games, first heartbreak, first kisses, success and failures. I really feel like that road shaped who I am today, and it felt fitting because the record, for the most part, is pretty nostalgic.”
Rhett said the title track and songs like “Almost” and “That Old Truck” reflect “who I was as a kid and teenager, and who I’ve become as an adult.”

It’s the first album where Rhett had a hand in writing every track. Hitmaker Ryan Tedder contributed to two songs, as did Rhett’s father, Rhett Akins.
“I just got back to why I wanted to make music in the first place – and that was writing great songs,” he explained. “This is one of those records that every time I listen back to it, it still feels new.”
Kelsea Ballerini, Jon Pardi and Little Big Town are featured on the album.
Rhett hits the road in April and has stops in Montreal (April 24), Ottawa (April 26), London (April 27), Saskatoon (May 2), Regina (May 3), Winnipeg (May 4), Calgary (May 8), Edmonton (May 10) and Vancouver (May 15).
