Universal Music Group To Donate 500,000 To Manchester Victims

Universal Music Group, the parent group which owns Ariana Grande’s label Republic, has announced it will donate $500,000 USD to victims of the Manchester attack.

"The Universal Music Group global family is proud to stand with Ariana Grande and its other performing artists in their support for the victims and families affected by the Manchester attack with a combined donation of $500,000 to the 'We Love Manchester Emergency Fund,'" the record company said in a statement.

The U.K. division of Sony Music Entertainment donated money to the cause immediately following the attack. A benefit concert – One Love Manchester – will take place tomorrow (June 4) with proceeds from ticket sales going to the Red Cross's Manchester Emergency Fund
