Carly Rae Jepsen made her native country proud Sunday with a bare-bones rendition of “O Canada” before the NHL All-Star Game.
As Canadian hockey icons like Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier and Bobby Orr looked on, Jepsen sang the national anthem a cappella inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The 31-year-old B.C. singer hasn’t released a new album since her 2015 album Emotion but has been made a few live appearances — including a New Year’s Eve performance on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

Back in 2012, Jepsen performed at the Staples Center as an opening act on Justin Bieber’s Believe tour.
Fifth Harmony was scheduled to perform the U.S. national anthem at the NHL All-Star Game but backed out at the last minute, citing an illness. The group was replaced by Courtney Daniels.
