Katy Perry is delivering her new single “Harleys in Hawaii” in aloha volume.
The pop star whispers the song’s lyrics in her very first autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) video – while hilariously reacting to sounds made by a mechanic in the background.
At one point, Perry stops the soothing recital. “Bill. What are you doing?”
“I’m cleaning the Harley Davidsons,” Bill whispers into the mic.
“OK Bill, but I’m doing an ASMR. Do you know what that means?”
“I do not,” Bill whispers.
Later, after being interrupted by another sound, Perry says “f**k this” before explaining: “That lyric isn’t in the song. I’m just kind of annoyed.”
Perry made the ASMR video at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. It debuted a week after the official video for "Harleys in Hawaii."
