Rock fans are still buzzing about the Panic! At The Disco (aka Brendon Urie) cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody” that aired during Tuesday night’s American Music Awards.
Although presented as “live” during the AMAs, the performance of the Queen classic was, in fact, taped Oct. 6 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. (When the AMAs aired, it was already Wednesday afternoon in Australia and Panic! was starting a two-day break between shows in Adelaide and Brisbane.)
Noticably missing from Urie’s touring band was guitarist Kenneth Harris, who left late last month amidst allegations of sexual misconduct. He was replaced by Mike Naran.

Friendly reminder that Brendon Urie is one of the most talented singers currently on earth and people have slept on him for far too long. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. pic.twitter.com/pDVlUpjS1O
