Canadian singer Scott Helman on Friday unveiled a video for his latest single, “Everything Sucks.”
It follows the release of the song late last month and comes as the 23-year-old continues a U.S. tour with Dean Lewis.
Helman said “Everything Sucks” is about “facing the weightlessness of depression. It was inspired by a difficult time in my life, and written from a place of healing and reconstruction.”
In a release, he added that the video is “my representation of this feeling.”
Since 2014, Helman has released four EPs and one studio album, 2017’s Hôtel de Ville. His hits include “Bungalow,” “Kinda Complicated” and “PDA.” Last year, he shared the title track from his EP Hang Ups.
