Who amongst us hasn’t struggled to put on a hoodie? But only Shawn Mendes has the courage to go public with his plight.
The Canadian singer endeared himself to fans Monday by sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video for his new single “If I Can’t Have You” – in which he takes on the challenge of slipping a black hoodie on.
“Hoodies are hard to put on,” Mendes complains, before practicing. “It’s just hard to put on a hoodie! Like, it’s never been easy!”
The singer talks his way through another practice run. “I’m going to put my arm through here, roll up, arm through this side… already looking f**ked,” he declares. “Already really hard to do.”
Of course, Mendes manages to get the hoodie on for the quick shot in the music video that was released last week. It was shot in Toronto ahead of the kick off of Mendes' world tour.
