Aaron Carter Claims He Was Sexually Abused By Sister

Aaron Carter claimed Thursday that he was sexually assaulted as a child by his sister Leslie.

“My sister Leslie suffered from bipolar and took lithium to treat it. She never liked the way it made her feel and when she was off of it she did things that she never meant to do I truly believe that,” the 31-year-old singer tweeted.

“My sister raped me from the age of 10 to 13 years old when she wasn’t on her medications and I was abused not only sexually by her but by first two back up dancers when I was 8 years old.”

Leslie died of a drug overdose in 2012.

Carter also alleged that his older brother Nick Carter of Backstreet Boys “abused me my whole life.”

“I have spent the last 15 years of my life going to therapy for abuse and rape, I've been through many different treatments, I have finally found the right treatment,” Carter added. “I have had my ups and downs, I continue to work on my mental health and i will soon not have to take anything.”

Earlier this month, Carter revealed that he has been diagnosed with multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety and manic depression – and he listed six medications he takes, including Xanax. The singer also admitted to huffing.

On Tuesday, Nick Carter and Aaron’s twin sister Angel filed a restraining order against their brother, citing his “increasingly alarming behaviour and his recent confession that he harbours thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child.”

Carter went on a Twitter tirade. “I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family,” he said. “I never threatened anyone. I’m appalled by this and don’t ever wish to speak to them again.

“I’ll be just fine without them. They need to leave me alone. Michael Jackson told me this was gonna happen and he was right.”

Carter also referred to his brother as a “serial rapist” and urged someone to make an “R. Kelly-type documentary” about him. (Nick Carter was accused of raping Melissa Schuman in 2017 but he denied the accusation and no charges were filed.)

In a statement to media, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department said it is “aware of recent media reports regarding family members concerned about the welfare of Aaron Carter. We are currently investigating the concerns of all parties involved, and utilizing all available resources to assist family members in addressing their concerns.”

Carter tweeted that he surrendered two rifles to police but kept a pistol and shotgun for protection.

He is scheduled to perform on Oct. 4 at Sniggily Wiggily's Beer N' Booze Concreatery in Halifax.
