Sharon Osbourne Shares Update On Ozzy's Health
Sharon Osbourne said this week her husband Ozzy is doing “great” after a fall at home that forced the cancellation of his tour.
“And then when he had the flu, he came out of hospital and he had a bad accident at home. He fell, and he fell in the middle of the night. And years ago, previously, he had a motorbike accident, where he was in a coma for days. And what he’d done was, he re-injured his back and neck and shoulders.”
Osbourne said when Ozzy fell, “all of the metal rods and everything that were put in his body were dislodged.”
She added: “He’s good, he’s fine, he’s great.”
Earlier this month, the Black Sabbath frontman postponed his upcoming tour, including shows in Montreal and Hamilton in June and in Edmonton and Vancouver in July. They will be rescheduled next year.
“I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates,” the 70-year-old rocker said, in a statement. “Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now.
“I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!”
