Taylor Swift Announces Intimate Concert Special


Taylor Swift used her favourite number 13 on Tuesday to announce the premiere of the streaming concert folklore: the long pond studio sessions.

“Well it’s 11/24 and 24-11=13 so I’ve got an announcement,” the singer tweeted. “You haven’t seen this film before.”

The special, which was recorded in September at producer and songwriter Aaron Dessner’s recording studio in upstate New York, features Swift performing the songs from her eighth studio album and sharing the stories behind them.

She is backed by Dessner and co-producer Jack Antonoff and joined by Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon, who collaborated with Swift on "Exile."

folklore: the long pond studio sessions will debut at midnight Pacific time on the Disney+ streaming service.

Swift, who won three American Music Awards on Sunday night and earned Grammy nominations on Tuesday, has been busy re-recording her early music so she can own the rights.
