WATCH: Janet Jackson Sings 'Runaway' Backed By Classroom Instruments
Janet Jackson just knew she’d have a good time performing her 1995 hit “Runaway” backed by classroom instruments.
The 53-year-old pop star joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots for a special version of the Design of a Decade: 1986–1996 track that aired on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show.
The performance was taped earlier in the week, when Jackson appeared on the show to promote her just-announced Black Diamond Tour. It includes shows at Toronto’s Scotiabank Centre on July 22 and Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on Aug. 22.
