Billie Eilish is expected to headline the musical element of the Closing Ceremony for the Paris 2024 Olympics this Sunday (August 11).
Sources tell Variety that Eilish is set to be joined by funk rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers and rapper Snoop Dogg, who carried the torch leading up to the kickoff of the games last month.
The performances are set to happen in Los Angeles in a mix of live and pre-taped performances overseen by Grammy Awards producer Ben Winson and producers of the televised event.
Charli XCX, who recently collaborated with Eilish on a remix of her song "Guess," teased her involvement with the speculated performance, tweeting out "… you wanna guess ;)" in a post announcing Eilish's involvement. However, she later confirmed she won't be joining Eilish, adding, "lololololol sry just kidding."
The Closing Ceremony concert will follow an electric Opening Ceremony, which began with Lady Gaga and concluded with a heroic comeback by Céline Dion in the rain, marking her first appearance since taking time off to battle Stiff Person Syndrome.
