Britney Spears’ youngest son has said he doesn’t know if his pop star mom will make music again.
During an Instagram Live session on Tuesday, 13-year-old Jayden Federline was asked when Spears is releasing new music.
“Actually, I haven't seen her doing a lot of music, at all,” he replied. “I don't think that … I don't know, dude. I don't even know.
“I remember one time I asked her, I said, ‘Mom, what happened to your music?’ and she was like, ‘I don't know, honey. I think I might just quit it.’ I'm like, ‘What? What are you saying? Like, do you know how much bank you make off of that stuff?’”
Spears, 38, hasn't released a studio album since 2016's Glory and hasn't performed since her Piece of Me Tour ended in October 2018. In January 2019, Spears announced she was scrapping her Las Vegas residency show, Domination. A statement on her website said the pop star was taking "an indefinite work hiatus."
Spears' father Jamie has been the singer’s conservator since 2008, prompting one fan to ask Federline if his grandfather is “a jerk.” He replied: “Yeah, he’s a pretty big d**k. He’s pretty gay as s**t. He can go die.”

Federline was doing the Instagram chat from the home of his father, Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline. The couple also has son Sean, 14.
Asked if he will get in trouble for spilling the tea on his famous mother, Jayden was pretty sure he wouldn’t. “I mean, my dad doesn’t care,” he said. “I have the best dad ever. My dad’s literally Jesus.”
Federline's Instagram account is currently set to "private" and several recordings of the chat posted to other social media platforms have been removed via copyright claims.
