Elton John on Sunday will host the star-studded iHeart Living Room Concert for America to support health care workers in the fight against COVID-19.
Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Billie Eilish, Green Day’s Bille Joe Armstrong, Mariah Carey and Tim McGraw will perform during the hour-long special from their homes.
The special, which begins at 9 pm ET on March 29, will be broadcast on MUCH and MTV Canada, where viewers will be encouraged to donate to the Canadian Red Cross. It will also be available to stream on the iHeartRadio app.
John, 72, would have been performing in Toronto on Sunday night as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. The singer was forced to cancel several shows due to COVID-19.
Several music stars have already made donations to help those on the frontlines of the battle against the virus, including Rihanna, James Taylor, Ciara, Justin Timberlake, Rita Ora, Cardi B, Suga of BTS, Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga.
