Liam Hemsworth has denied he said anything about his split from Miley Cyrus.
“I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets,” he wrote on Instagram. “Any reported quotes attributed to me are false.”
According to the Daily Mail Australia, when asked about the separation, Hemsworth responded: “You don’t understand what it’s like. I don’t want to talk about it.”

On Tuesday, Hemsworth shared on Instagram: “Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.”
A rep for Cyrus confirmed the couple, who tied the knot just before Christmas last year after a decade-long on-again, off-again relationship, had “agreed to separate.”
The pair started dating when they co-starred in the 2010 film The Last Song and announced their engagement in 2012. They broke up after about a year but later rekindled their romance.
