Louis Tomlinson is the latest artist to pull the plug on a concert due to the global threat of coronavirus.
The singer cancelled a show scheduled for March 11 at Fabrique in Milan.
“I was really excited to bring the Walls Tour to Italy but the health and safety of my fans is more important than anything else,” Tomlinson said in a message shared on social media.
“Don’t worry, I will be back in July.”
The COVID-19 virus has killed more than 3,200 people around the world. Italy has reported the highest number of deaths from coronavirus outside of China.
Other acts that have recently scrapped shows include Mariah Carey, BTS, Green Day and Canada's Avril Lavigne. Music festivals like Miami’s Ultra and France’s Tomorrowland Winter have also been postponed.
