The Rolling Stones will perform in Canada on June 29 after all.
On Thursday morning, the band announced new dates for the U.S. leg of its No Filter tour, which was postponed at the end of March so frontman Mick Jagger could undergo a heart valve procedure.
The date for the Stones' concert at the Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, north of Toronto, remains unchanged.
"Tickets sold for the original date will be honoured – fans DO NOT need to exchange their tickets," the band explained via social media.
The June 29th concert will be the Stones' 19th official tour show in the Toronto area in 54 years and their first since the 50 & Counting Tour in June 2013.
On Wednesday, Jagger shared a video clip showing him working on his moves. In February, he tweeted that he was “looking forward to heading back to Canada” and promised the concert “will be a good one!”
