The Weeknd will next month make his third appearance as musical guest on Saturday Night Live.
It will be the Toronto singer’s first time on SNL in more than three years. He last performed on the late night comedy show’s Season 42 premiere in October 2016, a year after making his SNL debut.
The Weeknd will likely do his most recent singles, "Heartless" and "Blinding Lights."
The Weeknd will be the second Canadian artist – after Justin Bieber this weekend – to perform on Season 45 of SNL. In the history of the show, whose creator and executive producer is Toronto-born Lorne Michaels, nine solo male Canadian artists have been the musical guest.
Last season, Shawn Mendes was the only Canadian musical guest on SNL.
