Aerosmith fans are expressing concerns about Joe Perry’s health after watching footage of the guitarist struggling to play “Livin’ On The Edge.”

The clip shows Perry, 68, during the band’s April 13th Deuces Are Wild residency show in Las Vegas.

“This has me genuinely worried,” reads a comment Wednesday on the popular Facebook fan page aerofanatic. “I hope and pray he’s ok physically. And I say this not as a fan. I say it as a person genuinely concerned about the health and well-being of another human being.”

Similar concerns are shared in the comments on YouTube. “That was rough,” read one. “Joe has looked sickly for a couple of years now, and with that heart scare, maybe its time to pack it in.”

Another wrote: “I hope Joe is okay health wise, I’ve never seen him play this bad. Much love and prayers to you Mr. Perry.”

“Something is seriously wrong with Joe,” another comment reads.

Last summer, Perry was rushed to hospital after collapsing backstage at a Billy Joel concert in New York City. Then, in November, he scrapped a 10-date tour with Aerosmith bandmate Brad Whitford and Extreme singer Gary Cherone due to his health.

Aerosmith’s residency continues until December. The band is also scheduled to perform July 14 at the Roxodus Music Fest in Ontario.
