Every day is The Weeknd
Well at least this week... Or maybe even these past couple months.
The man doesn't let up. In these last few months leading up to the release of his new album, Starboy, which will feature a number of guests, the singer has already released not one, but three singles. He has also already shot videos for the title track, as well as for 'False Alarm'. But it doesn't stop there. He has also been busy with another passion of his, fashion, which he expressed in a new menswear line with H&M. This week he also dropped a short-film called Mania. The singer also took the time to perform in select places, and receive a number of awards. That's it.
As he prepares to release the album officially, but also to play at Toronto's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball North, The Weeknd sat down with Zane Lowe from Beats 1 Radio. In the interview, the singer gets intimate, talking about his anxieties, but also his personal fashion style, as well as his process, and how he goes about working with other artists such as Kendrick Lamar. Watch the videos at the end of the article.
If you're in Toronto, Tokyo, Melbourne, or Berlin, stop by his Pop-Up Shops at some point this weekend.
And if you're brave enough to try and get in even though it's sold-out, there is a listening party today in Toronto for the launch of Starboy:
